The Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) is the most common nuisance wildlife in North Carolina. They will often chew their way into homes and business.

Gray squirrels give birth to 2 litters per year usually in late winter/early spring and again in late summer/early fall. Litters usually consist of around 4 pups.
